We spend the weekend at the cabin again. This time we brought Chase along. Which is a good thing since all the girls were itching to go fishing. And as per usual Kate and I were not that interested in fishing. I took Natasha and Jhanna to the store and bought them little fishing poles. Of course, they had to pick the princess pole. They were both so excited we had to open them right away. They spent about an hour in the backyard practicing casting. Natasha is actually getting pretty good. But I am making her wait a few more years before I'll let her actually cast with a hook on the end or the pole. She even took her brand new fishing pole to show-n-tell on Friday. She told me everyone loved what she brought and that most of the other students brought lame stuff. (She said one kid brought pictures, and some one else brought their dogs collar. So yeah, I can see why she would think it's lame.)
All in all we had a great time at the cabin.
Some of us did some swimming. By that I mean Cambri.

The girls enjoyed their fishing trip. Unfortunately, they came back empty handed. Which for mom is a good thing since she is not overly excited about cleaning and cooking the fish. Nor does she possess the know-how.The girls rented the newest Tinkerbell movie to watch.

We even had a campfire complete with smores and hot dogs.

I can't believe that my tragic accident didn't even make the story. I had a fish hook THROUGH my finger!
