Natasha started school again. She was so excited. A few kids are in her class again from last year so she liked seeing and playing with her friends again. When I went to drop Natasha off she didn't even wait for me to get Jhanna out of her car seat. She ran right up to the door and went inside. Jhanna and I had to wait in the line behind the other moms and the kids who actually waited with their mom. I got all my paper work and went to tell her bye. She looks up at me and says rather impatiently "BYE" as in get lost mom I'm playing. I have to say this year dropping her off was much easier for me than last. Yes, Radu made fun off me. It's only preschool after all, gotta cut the ambilical cord sometime. Jhanna was really disappointed. She cried for almost 45 minutes that she wants to go to school too. She only has one more year till she gets her turn. She has actually adjusted now and enjoys the extra mom time. While Natasha was at school Jhanna and I baked cookies. There is a rule that you have to have freshly baked cookies on the first day of school. * That helped calm Jhanna down. She likes to help bake. Her favorite part is licking, I mean 'cleaning' the beaters. Don't worry the beaters are properly cleaned by me (or Radu if I can sweet talk him into it) as well. Natasha really enjoyed the cookies while she told us about her first day.
*Thanks Grandma Mom
