Daddy, I'm traumatised.

We took the kids to go fishing. Ok honestly, we went so the daddies could go fishing. Reed was trying to get his poles ready and Jhanna goes by and gets caught up in the line and long story short, ends up getting her finger with the hook. This kind of stuff always happens to her. The hook didn't get her that bad, however she was bleeding. Jhanna started screaming. I took her up to the car to clean her up. Some really nice people had their first aide kit. Ours was of course, was at home in the other car. I was just trying to clean up her cut and put a bandaid on so it wouldn't get infected, we are at the lake after all. Jhanna was screaming and carrying on so loud. Three, THREE different people came by and asked if they should call an ambulance. We got her all cleaned up then made the mistake of trying to put a bandaid on. The screaming intensified. It took two people to hold her, one to hold her arm, and another person to put the bandaid on. I sat with her and held her for a while. After she had gotten all calmed down she says to me "Damn stupidy hook" Then she goes up to her dad and tells him she is "traumatised" She did eventually try to 'fish' we didn't put a hook on the pole. I think she had a good time at the end even though we traumatised her.
Disclaimer: I am sure she learned that word from her dad, not me.
